Transportation Driver Full-time - Larkin Community Hospital, South Miami, FL, US

Job description
Our driver is responsible in providing transportation for our patients/residents as scheduled by the transportation coordinator to satisfy medical appointments.
The driver's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following duties:
- Operate vehicle to transport patients/residents between destinations in a safe manner consistent with Larkin Community Hospitals policy and regulations.
- Comply with all traffic regulations in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner.
- Report any van malfunctions or needed repairs to the transportation coordinator.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness at all times.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to the proper facility and dispatcher.
- Pick up and drop off passengers at scheduled locations, following time schedules.
- Provide directions and information about van schedules, facilities and operations to the passengers as needed.
- Regulate ventilation systems for passenger comfort.
- Establish good rapport with passengers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two years of experience transporting patients.
- Be familiar with Miami-Dade and Broward County roadways.
- A valid Florida driver's license with no violations or accidents in the last 36 months.
- CDLA or B with P endorsement required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
