    Responsiblefor assisting the Maintenance Manager in the efficient maintenanceof the facility and equipment. During the absence of theMaintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor will assume allresponsibilities associated with the management of the Maintenancedepartment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Managesup to 15 employees in the Maintenance department. Is responsiblefor the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of theseemployees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordancewith the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work;appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;addressing complaints and resolving problems. Acts on the GeneralManagers behalf as needed or as assigned.
    • Assists Maintenance Manager in maintaining thefacility and equipment in a safe and operational state of readinessat all times in order to meet daily productionrequirements.
    • Supervisesthe established preventative maintenance program which includeslubrication, inspections and engineering sanitation schedules tominimize production down time.
    • Participates in the selection, training anddevelopment of the engineering departmentstaff.
    • Assistsin the scheduling of engineering staff to support schedules,production and non- productionhours.
    • Helpsmaintain the engineering department's shop and equipment on anongoingbasis.
    • Assistsin purchasing and maintaining proper inventory levels of equipmentspare parts. Reviews progress with Maintenance Manager on a monthlybasis.
    • Consultswith Maintenance Manager on long and short term improvement needson an ongoingbasis.
    • Assiststhe Maintenance Manager in managing the engineering departmentwithin all policy and budgetaryguidelines.
    • Facilitatesopen communication with each subordinate and department head toensure equipment problems are addressed on a timelybasis.
    • Assistsin maintaining comprehensive and complete engineering records,including preventative maintenance schedules, machine history,purchase orders, equipment manuals and capital expenditurerequests.
    • Contributesto the production of a consistent quality product throughmaintaining and updating facility engineeringpractices.
    • Establishesand maintains effective working relationships and two-waycommunication with co-workers and other personnel throughout theCompany.
    • Supports andparticipates in special projects asassigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor'sdegree and five years of related bakery or food Maintenanceexperience or equivalent combination of education andexperience.
    • Five years ofrelated bakery or food maintenance experience.
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documentssuch as Production schedules, safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and proceduremanuals

    Shift: 2nd

    SalaryRange: $70,000 - $90,000

The pay scale listed for thisposition is generally for candidates that meet the specifiedqualifications and requirements listed In this specific jobdescription. Additional pay may be determined for those candidatesthat exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. Weprovide a competitive compensation package that recognizes yourexperience, credentials, and education alongside a robust benefitsprogram to meet your needs. For union-represented postings, wagerates and ranges are governed by applicable collective bargainingagreements.
