- Ensure efficient and effective support to the Fleet Maintenance Officer (Rear Admiral) and N43 Deputy (GS-15).
- Provide subject matter expertise to develop presentations supporting team meetings, management reviews, logistics team reviews, audits, and other briefing requirements.
- Review, analyze and draft recommendations for Government instructions, notices, technical management, and guidance manuals.
- Prepare presentations, charters, analysis, recommendations, correspondence, and PoAMs for Government review
- Coordinate the preparation, scheduling, and documentation of logistics meetings, i
- Schedule/prepare technical documents and distributes minute for Maintenance, Logistics, Modernization, Modification, Maintenance Engineering, and Readiness Initiatives meetings, video teleconferences (VTCs), conference calls and other-directed program meetings, conferences, teleconferences, or technical coordination meetings or reviews.
- Draft technical documents for fleet maintenance initiatives and programs including calendar of events, travel requirements, qualifications and training requirements, data calls, and inventory of items to support these requirements.
- Draft official command correspondence in accordance with the Naval Correspondence Manual
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years as an Executive Officer or Commanding Officer of a US Navy Command, or 3+ years as Chief of Staff for a Senior Flag Officer (3-4 Star Staff) required.
- Experience in the Navy POM Process.
- Knowledge of Navy ship operations and maintenance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated abilities in schedule conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of Navy organizational structures
