    Job Summary

    The Nursing Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has an
    opening for an ADN Clinical Coordinator. The ADN Clinical Coordinator will recruit, hire, and orientate adjunct faculty to Jefferson policies concerning clinical rotations.

    Job Duties:

    This position will be responsible for:
    Recruiting and hiring adjunct faculty that meet KBN and ACEN guidelines.
    Maintain adjunct handbook for distribution each semester to adjunct faculty. Hold adjunct meeting at the beginning of each semester.
    Orient adjunct faculty to college. Orient faculty to clinical expectations and set up facility orientation.
    Orient adjunct faculty to all pertinent college/program resources needed for successful completion of clinical rotation.
    Set up adjunct faculty meeting course team lead to ensure completion of course expectations of clinical faculty.
    Maintain communication throughout semester with clinical faculty.
    Maintain files for clinical faculty per KBN and ACEN guidelines.
    Reserve clinical sites for each semester based on program needs.
    Maintain contact with facility contacts and attend any required meetings per facility request.
    Set up CB bridges per facility guidelines and maintain compliance. Communicate with student and team lead regarding compliance.
    Set up practicum for the final semester students and be the point of contact for clinical faculty liaisons. Maintain practicum handbook.
    Work closely with Academic Program Coordinator.
    Collaborate with team lead to set up clinicals for each course.
    Attend college/program meetings.
    Other duties as assigned per APC or Dean of Nursing.
    Clinical or lecture coverage as needed.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    BSN required. MSN preferred. Will accept BSN in progress if completion within 3 years of hire. Hold active unrestricted KY RN license.
