    What will I be doing?

    • Monitor and improve the quality of operational processes and outputs.
    • Design quality standards to ensure that manufactured products meet a high level of quality.
    • Develop processes, procedures and implement systems/methodologies to ensure that products meet customer requirements.
    • Work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures that align with the corporates structure.
    • Utilize excellent skills to troubleshoot and be able to ensure that processes and products consistently meet established quality standards.

    What qualifications do I need for this great opportunity?

    MINIMUM EDUCATION: BS in Industrial Engineering

    PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master's degree in engineering

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

    At least 5 years' experience in the creation of quality implementation and sustainment of an ISO-9001 based Quality Systems. Knowledge of Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, 5S and Six Sigma processes.

    REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: ASQ - CQE

    QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to use metrology tools and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices. Good understanding of problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5WHY, Fishbone Diagram, etc.

    What are your primary duties to be successful in this role?

    • First Article, In-Process and New Product design measurements and reports using a CMM (Hexagon – Absolute Arm
    • Work closely with Department Managers and Supervisors in their areas to identify defective parts or processes and develop methods &/or processes to prevent continued occurrences.
    • Plans and oversees the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of assigned product or component.
    • Develop PFMEA, Control Plan & Process Flow diagrams up to and including PPAP submission.
    • Utilize the PDCA tool to solve problems identified during quality activities.
    • Performs quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including sub-contractors and supplier quality manuals and company quality records.
    • Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current sub-contractors and supplier process and process changes.
    • Prepares and presents technical and program information to the management team.
    • Other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    No direct supervisory duties are required. However, there may be occasion to direct SA hourly personnel during onsite visits.
