    Description


    PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB
    Responsible for conducting various transactions through core bank processing software, and other system applications; while observing internal controls.

    Ensures the confidentiality of customer non-public personal information and secures information systems to comply with bank regulations.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS
    Process incoming and outgoing wire transactions through all areas of core bank processing software, and other system applications, in a timely and accurate manner under minimal supervision including, but not limited to, the following:

    o Domestic and international wire requests;

    o Calculate exchange rates related to foreign currency wires;

    o Verify funds availability

    Ability to understand and follow regulatory requirements, bank policy and procedures associated with daily tasks; and security protocols;

    Perform callback verification to confirm transaction details and authenticity of transaction;

    Complete other duties assigned by the Wire Operations Department.

    Good organizational skills;

    Highly attentive to detail and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;


    Good interpersonal communication and computer skills; ability to operate standard office equipment, including spreadsheets, data entry via 10-key, and keyboarding.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    High school diploma or equivalent.
