A renewable energy developer with robust PE backing behind it has an opening for an FP&A Director at its Austin office.

This business develops and manages utility-scale solar and battery storage projects nationwide, with a particular focus on the southeastern United States.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in steering the companys financial strategy, and oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.

With your expertise in finance and renewable energy, you will contribute to the companys mission of shaping a sustainable future through clean energy solutions.

Key responsibilities for this role will include (but are not limited to):Spearhead the development, coordination, and delivery of annual budgets, forecasts, and commitments.

Assume responsibility for quarterly forecasting, business planning, risk reporting, and ad-hoc analyses.
Consolidate corporate business plans, generate financial reports, and present financial KPIs.
Supervise financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
Oversee the planning processes related to financial resources.
Compile and present key financial metrics and recurring reports.
Provide meticulous support by assessing variances and preparing trend analyses.
Head the accounting function to guarantee precise recording of transactions.
Facilitate effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
Execute ad hoc reports and analyses for finance, asset management, and project development teams.

Required and desired skillsets, experience, and qualifications for this role:
Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting and/or finance.
Over 10 years of experience in FP&A and/or accounting.
Over 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and other accounting and reporting systems.
Proven track record in managing treasury and financial reporting.
Strong aptitude for analysis and project management.
