SCOPE OF ROLE :
The Wellness Works CCBHC Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric and administrative services, within a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC), a holistic behavioral health care clinic modeled after Federally Qualified Health Centers.
Provide medication management, including medication assisted treatment, and psychotherapy directly and in consultation with CCBHC and primary care staff:
prescribe, educate, adjust, and partner in full consumer engagement efforts regarding strategies, outcomes and consequencesDocument medical and psychological histories, assessments, diagnoses, and outcomes.
Provides supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners and registered nurses at CCBHC clinicCollaborate, consult with staff, and sign off on treatment plans, particularly for complex casesPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications:Board Certified in PsychiatryNational Provider ID Number (NPI Number)3-5 years managerial experience in a behavioral treatment settingExperience with underserved populations and direct service to people living with serious and persistent mental illnessAbility to prescribe MATExperience with treating adolescents and children, a plus
