    Description


    The Senior Enterprise Administrator for the global team at SMC IT will provide advanced administrative support for various enterprise-level platform(s).

    This role works closely with global, regional, and local IT teams to ensure the ongoing availability and performance of applications used by SMC Group Companies.

    This individual will also provide leadership and guidance in the adoption and optimization of additional platform capabilities to ensure that SMC is working effectively within those systems.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES
    Provide advanced administration of Global Software applications, including making and consulting on approved changes to system configurations.

    Be a trusted and knowledgeable resource to other global, regional, and local IT team members, providing guidance, coaching, and training in the platform systems.

    Ensure the SMC IT teams around the world are equipped to complete tasks including configuration, integration, testing, requirements gathering, and solution design.

    Proposes and implements process enhancements to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction
    Develop systems integrations and process automation – fully utilizing the platform's workflow capabilities
    Monitors system performance, generates reports, and provides insights for continuous improvement.
    Configure Business Rules, Notifications, Client Scripts, and ACLs including advanced scripting to optimize performance.

    Work with Product Owner/stakeholders to build requested items and tasks using workflows to manage processes and meet business requirements as well as optimize the User Experience.

    Document and maintain functional business requirements, process flows, and business use cases.
    Provides ad hoc and scheduled training in addition to helping IT teams develop training sessions and workshops.

    Conducts research and stays up to date with emerging trends and advancements to understand how to better serve the global needs for SMC.

    All other duties as assigned.

    Off-hour meetings and work to accommodate global time zones
    Collaborative team environment in a shared workspace
    General office, computer room, warehouse, and factory areas
    Infrequent off-hours work and local/international travel as required
    Able to sit for extended periods of time
    Minimum lifting requirements of 15 pounds

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
    10+ years of customer-facing IT experience in an enterprise environment
    5+ years' experience working in Microsoft 365 technologies
    Experience in administering systems using PowerShell and scripting solutions to problem
    Experience working with global teams a plus
    Involvement working directly with vendors, stakeholders, and end users
    Expert in translating business requirements into technical solutions
    Extensive Experience supporting the development and deployment of workflow solutions
