    Job Description


    American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with strong intervention and STEMI experience, as well as proficiency with EP devices.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in a short-term acute care hospital Cath Lab
    • Day shift schedule: 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
    • On-call is required, with 10 call shifts per month including weekends
    • Patient population includes cardiology intervention and EP device cases
    • Cerner EMR charting is used and experience is required
    • Floating within the hospital and to affiliated hospitals is required
    • Local candidates are accepted
    • First-time travelers are welcome
    • Must work at least one winter holiday and two out of three major holidays
    • Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
    • Returning permanent or PRN employees must have a 12-month separation before being eligible as a traveler
    • All staff may be required to float to affiliate hospitals as needed
    • Free parking is available on site

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 18 months to 2 years recent Cath Lab experience
    • Strong background with cardiac interventions and STEMI cases
    • Must be comfortable using EP devices
    • Current ARRT(R), ACLS, and BLS certifications required (AHA or RQI accepted)
    • Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE-accredited university
    • IN or Compact state license required by start date; pending license accepted if already applied
    • Cerner charting experience required
    • License required if applicable
