    Description
    Sudbury Lumber Company is seeking a driver who will be responsible for transporting materials throughout MA daily.

    This position will work with the foreman, manager and lumberyard associates to pull and load materials for deliveries and ensure that materials are delivered correctly.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Complete deliveries throughout MA daily
    Load and unload trucks efficiently at lumberyard and job sites
    Completing a thorough load check on the truck before leaving the lumberyard by making sure all materials are secured and all parts of the truck are in compliance with required regulations
    Documenting each step of delivery by taking and uploading photos to our software system
    Maintains truck according to state and federal regulations and inspects truck equipment on a daily basis
    Works with lumberyard shipper or manager regarding delivery instructions
    Provide good customer service and presents a professional appearance
    Additional responsibilities include warehouse work, loading or unloading deliveries as needed and other duties as assigned


    Minimum Requirements:
    Valid License
    Experience operating forklifts
    Pre-Employment Drug Screen and random drug screens are required
    Flatbed truck experience is preferred
    High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
    Strong communication skills
    Attention to detail
    Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds

    Job Type:
    40+ Hours per week with occasional Saturdays; Full Time Position; Day Shift
