Job summary
The Clinical Staff Pharmacist will provide excellent customer service to patients and other members of the interdisciplinary team and serve as a clinical leader to students, residents, and other staff members.Responsibilities
- Supervise non-pharmacist personnel by assigning duties, checking all orders,
maintaining efficient workflow,
and checking IVs and other medications prepared by technicians. - Assess need for non-formulary items ordered according to department policy,
and initiates contact with prescribing physician for substitute.
