Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Management of a team of people covering the full range of financial reporting and consolidation.
Partnering with senior executive engineering leader on strategic direction of the 500+ advanced technology organization
Participate in cross functional team in developing and maintaining business cases for RISE technology programs
Lead a global cross functional team on external customer funding opportunities for advanced technology pursuits
Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function.
Lead in the culture of the engineering finance organization
LEAN learning and application to continuous improvement across the organization
Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college with concentration in accounting or finance
6+ years of finance experience including financial closing and consolidation.
Desired Characteristics
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
