HDR is currently in need of a Water/Wastewater Designer to work as a member of the Water Business Group.The successful candidate will be expected to work as a team member for studies and/or detailed design and construction services for water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems.
Create detailed designs ofwater/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems.Prepare drawings to write specifications, analysis, and study-level reports for water and wastewatersystems, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and cost estimation.
Assist the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects.Water, Wastewater, Treatment, Pumpstation, Pipeline, Civil, Environmental, EIT, Engineering, Construction, Hydraulic
Bachelor's in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or other Water/Wastewater Engineering related field
Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title "Water/Wastewater Designer" until they receive their EIT.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Master's degree in a related field
Experience in evaluating, designing, and/or developing drawings and specifications for water/wastewater treatment facilities and pump station projects
Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management software
MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experience
Preference is given to local candidates
