    A day as a Production Supervisor in Cirtec Medical - WE1 (Friday-Sunday, 5:00am to 3:00pm)

    In this role, you'll orchestrate the production processes, carefully coordinating tasks to fulfill customer requirements, hit production targets, and uphold our quality and cost standards. As a driving force of leadership and motivation, you'll guide your production team, facilitating training, and ensuring adherence to our quality system to create a smoothly operating production environment.

    Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

    Key areas of expertise are:

  • Provide leadership and direction to 40-45 Operators and 4 team leads across the associated shift ensuring proper levels of production and quality are met.
  • Plan, organize, and schedule production activities (including personnel and equipment) to meet schedules for both standard production and development projects.
  • Coordinate hiring and training of new employees along with recording the status of the training
  • Preemptively coordinate material and system requirements to ensure minimum amount of downtime and recommend measures to improve production methods, yields, and the quality of product
  • Participate on and lead teams that improve safety, quality, and reliability in the production area, as well as teams that support cost saving and team building initiatives (QDC).
  • Manage production personnel, including planning personnel needs, participating in the hiring process, and managing performance.
  • Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in a relevant field, such as Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Computer literate (MS Office Suite, Syteline)
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience in technical report writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Several years of experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage conflict, and problem-solve under pressure is crucial.
  • Good to have:

  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
  • Certifications in areas such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Project Management
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with Contract Manufacturing preferred.
  • Prior Experience in a Supervisory Role
