    Description

    The role of a Nursing Assistant in our long-term care facility requires dedication and compassion. We are seeking an individual who can provide resident-centered care, promoting the well-being and dignity of our residents.



    Job Description



    • Serves as caregiver to residents during scheduled work periods.
      The Nursing Assistant will provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing and providing psychosocial support to assigned residents.

    • Assists with basic health care needs including taking vital signs, assisting with transfers/repositions/walking using correct transfer techniques/equipment providing range of motion/passive exercises completes tasks related to food preparation/dining while creating a positive dining experience for the resident assists residents with meals/snacks provides water/supplements as appropriate communicates changes/concerns/responses in condition/care/documenation outcomes - collect non-invasive body fluid specimens/vital signs housekeeping laundry services wellness/recreational programs encourages participation may participate departmental committees/task forces


    We require certification from state Board of Nursing (CNA) within four months by enrolling training program or endorsement.
