    Description

    Nursing Assistant / Health Aide

    At Home Instead, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

    • Assisting seniors with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
    • Monitoring and administering medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
    • Providing companionship and emotional support to enhance their overall well-being
    • Assisting with light housekeeping tasks and maintaining a clean and safe environment
    • Accompanying seniors to appointments and engaging them in recreational activities
    • Documenting and reporting any changes in their physical or mental condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

    Estimated Salary Range:

    $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

    Job Requirements:

    While specific requirements may vary, common qualifications for this role typically include:

    • A high school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field (desirable)
    • Certifications such as CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide)
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Reliable transportation and flexibility with scheduling
