Position Title: Manufacturing Controller

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Controller to oversee the financial operations of our manufacturing division. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounting functions, analyzing financial data, and providing strategic guidance to support the company's manufacturing objectives.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and profitability of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Controller Role:

Manage all aspects of the manufacturing division's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to track and analyze manufacturing costs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making related to manufacturing processes, pricing strategies, and resource allocation.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess manufacturing performance and identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and engineering, to optimize manufacturing processes and maximize profitability.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls within the manufacturing division.
Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills and Experience for the Manufacturing Controller Role:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Proven experience in a manufacturing accounting or finance role, with knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data and draw actionable insights.
Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions to complex financial challenges.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals and drive continuous improvement.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
