    Job Summary and Qualifications

    As the Radiology Technologist Lead, you will perform supervisor duties of scheduling, coordinating workloads, assignment or personnel, oversee all areas of the department for completion of daily work requirements and perform exams.

    You will assure that all exams are complete while acting as a resource to staff at all times.

    What You Will Do In This Role:

    • You will be responsible for the provision of Radiology Services to include the specialty areas of Diagnostic Radiology, MRI, and CT services.
    • You will coordinate work schedules with the Departmental Director and / or scheduling desk to assure workload coverage.
    • You will act as interim manager in the absence of the Clinical Manager and/ or Director.
    • You will perform a variety of tasks involved in operating x- ray equipment to make radiographs of designated body portions.
    • You will adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques in accordance with radiation safety guidelines.
    • You will be responsible for proper use of Radiology Information Systems and understand and use CR/ PACS systems.

    What Qualifications You Will Need:

    • Graduate from an accredited Radiography program or equivalent is required.
    • MRT in the State of Texas is required.
    • ARRT is required.
    • American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
    • One year of experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred.
