    Description

    Job Summary:

    The Accounting and Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations and tax compliance of the Company. This role includes managing the day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and tax, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    This role is based out of Edison, NJ and will have one day of telework available.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
    • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a management role.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and tax regulations.
    • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
