    We are conducting an exciting, retained search to recruit Metro Credit Union's ( new Chief Marketing Officer. With over $3.4 billion in assets and approximately 220,000 members, Metro is the largest state-chartered credit union based in Massachusetts. Founded in 1926, our Client enjoys a reputation for exceptional member service and extraordinary commitment to the communities it serves. Metro operates 19 full-service branches throughout Greater Boston, with membership throughout Massachusetts and much of Southern New Hampshire.

    Reporting to the President & CEO, this is an outstanding opportunity to help lead and strategically grow a progressive and highly regarded Financial Services organization of scale. Metro is a local, member-focused alternative to larger banks with a progressive culture that fosters teamwork, collaboration, creativity, and member commitment. Key priorities include:
    • As a collaborative partner, lead the marketing function to support overall strategic goals and initiatives.
    • Oversee all aspects of branding, marketing, and advertising strategy; public relations; reputation management and crisis communications; content marketing; external communications; social media; and media relations.
    • Elevate Metro's presence and accelerate a growth mindset across the Organization.
    • Use data, analytics, and digital marketing strategies to promote products/services, strong member relationships, and overall institutional branding.
    • Drive new product/service development and promotion to enhance Metro's reach and share of wallet.
    The successful candidate will bring:
    • A minimum of ten years of marketing, member service, and/or management experience (or equivalent).
    • Prior experience orchestrating brand identity, creative member-centric marketing campaigns, and the member experience across all channels (traditional and digital) preferred.
    • Excellent understanding of digital marketing technologies, social media, and platform integrations.
    • Prior financial services industry experience strongly preferred.
