    About the Role

    As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Tenet Business Services Corporation, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through the performance of MRI exams. With our state-of-the-art equipment and a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a skilled professional to join our team.

    Responsibilities

    • Verify patient identity and review medical records for exam appropriateness.
    • Explain procedures to patients, including potential side effects, risks, benefits, and alternatives.
    • Analyze images, make initial observations, document exceptions from established protocols, and communicate data to radiologists.
    • Prioritize process improvement activities within radiology practices, focusing on quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, and patient satisfaction.
    • Contribute to imaging education for residents, student technologists, and new employees.

    Requirements

    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration in Radiology (R) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) certification is mandatory.
    • A minimum of one year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) is required.
    • Ability to complete American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support – Healthcare Provider (BLS) training within the specified timeframe.
