Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist prepares and maintains medical equipment for surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

- Ensure proper equipment, instruments and supplies are provided for procedures and specialty areas.
  • Ensure a well organized sterile setup/field is maintained at all times contributing to smooth operations.
  • Anticipate and respond timely with efficiency when performing assignments.
  • Follow proper sterile techniques and maintain a sterile field at all times.

Qualifications- Communication customer service computer skills Knowledge of medical terminology Advanced degree professionalism by precepting new hires etc BLS certification
