Job Summary
Audiology and Speech Pathology Service is seeking a Health Technician to support the function of clinical programs. The selected candidate will assist patients with concerns related to their hearing aids and/or hearing assistive technology, consistent with the treatment plan of the audiologist.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of basic ear anatomy and a broad knowledge of hearing aids and hearing assistive technology. Strong communication skills are essential for providing patient education on hearing loss and communication strategies for various listening situations.

Responsibilities include:

• Hearing aid troubleshooting and repair;
• Visual and auditory checks of hearing aids and alerting devices (troubleshoots performance);
• Fabricating earmold impressions with proper otoscopy;
