- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to determine the mental health status of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the assessment, including prescribing and managing medication.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of patients, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care.
- Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychiatric care and evidence-based practices through ongoing professional development.
- Active Florida PA-C or ARNP license in good standing
- Active DEA registration and prescribing authority for psychiatric medications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
