Cybersecurity Penetration Tester - Colorado Springs - Oasis Systems

Description

Conduct penetration testing, security analysis, and system vulnerability identification to support the 48th Cyber Space Test Squadron at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado. This role involves working in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment, learning new technology areas, and collaborating with team members to achieve cybersecurity goals. Responsibilities include compliance testing, penetration testing, and providing technical guidance and support to penetration test teams. Travel requirements may include up to 25% of the time, both within the United States and overseas. Key qualifications include a Master's degree, at least 10 years of applicable experience, and a Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance. Desired qualifications include experience leading penetration test activities, knowledge of source code vulnerability analysis, and certifications such as CISSP, CASP, and OSCP.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent penetration testing, data collection, test automation, and reporting.
• Develop test tools and strategies for cybersecurity testing in DOD.
• Perform system security analysis on systems and/or software to understand and identify vulnerabilities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to penetration test teams.
• Document and communicate test results effectively to technical and non-technical user groups in written and oral formats.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of applicable experience in cybersecurity.
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• DOD 8570 IAT Level 3 certification (CASP, CISSP, ISSEP, etc.) within 6 months of hire.
• Experience using modern penetration testing tools and methods.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading penetration test activities and events.
• Knowledge of source code vulnerability analysis.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CASP, OSCP, and others.
