    Job Summary

    The Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC) is looking to fill a full-time MIIC Product Support Research Scientist position. The MIIC Product Support Research Scientist is needed to perform informatics and application change documentation related to the Minnesota Immunization Information Connection (MIIC). This position will focus on informatics as well as improvement and creation of new functions used by MIIC such as reporting, texting, bulk query, and PyMatch. This role will allow for more consistent business side documentation and support and will allow other program staff to focus on program implementation.

    This position is located in St. Paul, MN with the eligibility for a mixture of in office and telework.

    This position is temporary and may be ended or extended at any time based on business needs. The anticipated end date is June 30, 2025.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    The following minimum qualifications must be clearly demonstrated on the applicant's resume/application to be considered for this position.

    One (1) year of experience providing analytical support in a healthcare, public health or health data setting that demonstrates the following:
    • Computer skills sufficient for data processing, presentations and report writing.
    • Organizing and synthesizing material from diverse sources, into plans and reports.
    • Translating data into meaningful reports.
    Minimum qualifications to be assessed at the time of interview:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Skill in assessing problems, their causes, and their consequences.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Identifying problems and suggesting solutions.
    • Ability to effectively communicate the capabilities and limitations of information technologies.
    • Skill in prioritizing and coordinating many tasks which must be accomplished simultaneously.
    Additional Requirements
