    Responsibilities:


    As a Senior Accountant with Hines, you will handle the financial and reporting functions for several standalone and consolidated projects.

    In addition, this position will assist with audit, tax, and quarterly/semi-annual bank & internal reporting requirements.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
    Quarterly bank reporting functions assist with financial statement preparation for various entities, consolidations, GAAP eliminations and adjustments.
    Reconcile intercompany & equity balances for consolidation eliminations.
    Hines Annual Plan/Budget/Projection consolidation review and variance analysis.
    Collaborate and liaise with cross functional teams within the organization.
    Assistance with special reporting for internal executive groups.
    General ledger maintenance review, approval and posting of monthly journal entries.
    Cash management responsibilities including wire processing in treasury system.
    Manage corporate entities external audit and tax compliance requirements.
    Special projects and ad hoc requests.

    Qualifications:
    Minimum Requirements include:Bachelors or Master's degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
    Two or more years' professional accounting experience encompassing similar duties.
    CPA designation is preferred.
    Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.

    Ability to lift general ledgers, files, records, and computer paper (approximately 5-35lbs).

    Work overtime as business needs deem appropriate.
