    Description

    At Danone, Manufacturing the best products and supplying them to meet demand is a key driver for our plant teams.

    We are currently looking to hire a Warehouse Associate-Night shift based in Dubois, Pennsylvania.

    The Warehouse Associate is an entry level position that is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products.

    The associate is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties.


    In this role, you will be responsible for:

    • Receiving/Put-Away;
    * unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations.

    • Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas
    • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from damage. Report quality variances
    • Pull and prepare the product for shipment, ensuring the accuracy of orders pulled, is loaded and shipped
    • Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards
    • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift
    • Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
    • Complete daily inspection of equipment
    • Ensure proper stock rotation
    • Complete and submit daily paperwork as required
    • Use Radio-frequency equipment for receiving, put away, and load functions as needed (SAP)
    • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety; comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
    • Maintain a clean work area through daily sanitation
    • Support the plant's efforts of DAMAWAY (Danone's system of continuous improvements)
    • Other tasks as assigned

    ABOUT YOU:

    • You have a high school diploma or GED,required
    • You have a minimum of two (2) years Forklift certified experience in a fast-paced environment, preferred.
    • You have forklift-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • You have the ability to use a computer and have knowledge of SAP, preferred
    • You have the ability to drive a forklift.
    • You have knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
    • You have the ability to navigate tight spaces

    Language Skills:

    • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
    • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

    Mathematical Skills:

    • Must have excellent math skills and the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.

    Reasoning Ability:

    • Must have the ability to understand to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to extreme cold, risk of electrical shock and vibration
