SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business and has consistently been voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work. We are looking for a talented engineer to help us revolutionize the way we build software.
In the last 20 years, SimVentions has incorporated many tools like build servers, artifact and resource storage, container registries, source control, issue tracking, vulnerability scanning, and testing environments into our processes for making software. Now, we need your skill to help us build the next generation of that infrastructure and help our teams use it.
As a defense contractor, there are many standards we must follow to continue doing business. You'll be the link that helps ensure our next generation of software build tools meets those standards and integrates with our corporate infrastructure.
We want your knowledge of the software development lifecycle to help us choose the best tools for the needs we have. We need your experience in the trenches of administering Linux systems, Windows system, and software applications to configure them in a secure way that's scalable to our growing company.
It will be a challenge, but there will be plenty of allies that want to help you succeed. You'll have a knowledgeable, friendly group of IT professionals that can help orient you. There's a stable of software developers experienced with infrastructure to advise you on needs and implementation options. There is a lot to do, but you'll have the chance to make a big impact on the 50+ software engineers that work at SimVentions. Your work will be the foundation that enables them to focus on the needs of the warfighter and make solutions that really shine.
