About the company

Nora Gardner is a women’s workwear-focused apparel brand, based in New York City.

The brand was conceived out of a real need the founder, Ms. Gardner, felt for more fashionable and functional workwear for corporate women. As a former investment banker, Ms. Gardner's vision for her brand was based on own her wardrobe needs as a professional woman, which she felt were not being addressed by the fashion world.

Not only are the founding members and owners of the company women – and New Yorkers – the company manufactures 100% of its apparel in New York City (in Manhattan’s Garment District); the company is deeply committed to creating jobs in New York City and supporting the Garment Center.

The brand's core mission is to make the lives of working women easier, with an unwavering commitment to convenience, quality and fit. The company launched in October 2013 to rave reviews and to date the brand is carried in more than 100 stores in four countries. The company has been featured in prominent publications such as Forbes Magazine, Lucky Magazine, Greenwich Post and Sharp Heels, and has become a go-to resource for high powered women around the world.
