As the world's largest fluid power distributor, Applied Fluid Power and our network of 20+ fluid power companies is committed and dedicated to providing fluid power support and custom engineered solutions that meet our customers performance goals and keep industries running.

As an Outside Sales Representative with ESI (Engineered Sales)/an Applied Fluid Power subsidiary, you'll spend your time interacting with your customers in determining their fluid power needs, while providing solutions to meet those needs. You will have a direct impact on customer satisfaction, retention and sales results

Responsibilities

Proven experience in retaining customers and building repeat sales.
Successfully sell company products and services to customers by processing orders, price and delivery inquiries.
Provide technical and application information.
Be strategic, extremely organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory.
Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate relevant sales and market reports on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis.
Responsible for helping set sales target goals and marketing strategy.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business preferred
Mechanical aptitude; Hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems.
Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales
Background in outside sales within the Industrial/Fluid Power marketplace preferred.
