    Compensation:

    $23 to $25 hourly plus quarterly bonuses

    Responsibilities:

    This position is for a very organized team member who will manage the discovery process on all files.

    Responsibilities include the following:

    • Drafting of discovery requests and responses
    • Preparing balance sheets for marital assets and liabilities
    • Keeping track of discovery and trial deadlines
    • Working with and helping to grow a team of paralegals for mediation and trial preparation
    • Working independently but also working alongside and collaborating with a dedicated team
    • Scheduling and coordinating appointments and preparation for mediation
    • Managing multiple deadlines and handling staff questions without breaking a sweat
    • Interacting and communicating with our clients and team members from a place of compassion while adhering to the firm's missions, values, and goals
    • Strong technical skills in completing forms online, scanning documents, and other electronic communications
    • Handling with ease the day-to-day interactions with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
    • Utilizing technical skills to maintain a "paperless" office environment
    • Multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Providing exceptional customer service with an empathetic ear to our clients
    Qualifications:
    • 3+ years of family law paralegal experience
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 365 and hands-on experience with office equipment (multi-line phone system, desktop computer, fax machines, scanner/printer)
    • Well organized, efficient, and able to prioritize tasks accordingly
    • You are positive and a solution-focused problem solver

    • Strong written communication (consistent, detail-oriented, and professional)
