JOB SUMMARY

Project Management Innovation & Core (PMIC) is responsible for working with cross-functional teams to deliver launches on time, at cost and at the correct package conception and product quality. 

This role requires project management, problem solving, communication skills, as well as basic product development and executional abilities. High collaboration with Japan HQ counterparts and cross-functional team members is needed to ensure all necessary learning, qualification, and execution activities are completed in support of a successful launch. This individual is expected to manage a portfolio of projects, which may vary between special projects or kits and existing or new product development projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• You will coordinate the new product development process for all products for a designated category brand from concept generation to execution, ensuring timing, quantity and KPI targets are achieved
• You will be required to drive multiple projects and work with cross-functional partners to ensure the required project tasks and key milestones are completed on time.
• You will utilize timeline management with MS project and updating timelines on weekly/monthly bases. Ensure all critical milestones are on track and elevate any risk to avoid delays to ATS.
• You will lead all project meetings with internal and external (vendors and CM's) cross functional partners and coordinate the seamless integration between Marketing, PD, R&D, Packaging and all Operational functions involved in developing product related projects.
• You will facilitate the costing process at different stages of the project throughout the launch cycle.
• You will consistently challenge and reduce development lead-times by ensuring. appropriate balanced risks are built into the original time plans, while ensuring all COGs, quality and service requirements are achieved/exceeded.
• You will elevate risks and bottlenecks encountered during the end to end life cycle of the entire NPD process with the respective mitigation plans.

WHO YOU ARE

• You have 1-2 years of project management experience in CPG or Beauty Industry (the more the better)
• You can work well with cross-functional teams and manage high volume projects within the team.
• You have MS Project knowledge and experience (required) and strong Excel and Word skills
• You have exposure to production environment & interaction of packaging, process, manufacturing.
• You can quickly analyze data and information from different places and put it together into a project plan or timeline.
• You have a basic understanding of end to end product development and launch process
• You have some degree of analytical, financial and organization skills required
• You have strong, clear written and verbal communication skills (required)
• You have entrepreneurial spirit: taking initiative and drive clarity and resolution
• You have a bachelor's degree (required) preferred degrees include: Engineering (all specialties), Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Business

The base pay for this position may vary based on geographic location. Actual base pay offered will be based on several factors including job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and depth of experience. In addition to base pay, we may offer additional forms of compensation as components of a total compensation package, including participation in our bonus program which features the ability to overachieve, in addition to a full range of competitive benefits.
