Job Summary
The Mechanical Millwright is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, dismantling and moving machinery and equipment in industrial settings. The job requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
+Responsibilities
- Construction Drawings – Competently read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Rigging – Safely and competently identify and use basic rigging procedures and equipment including chain hoists, come-alongs, jacks, tuggers. Must be proficient in the use of hand signals. Can competently inspect common rigging equipment.
