Intermodal Business Development Executive

JOB SUMMARY
Intermodal Sales Exec will be in daily contact with intermodal shippers and BCO's. Their primary job will be to focus on building strong customer relationships with both existing and new customers. Focus should also be on retaining and expanding current business while also seeking new business opportunities.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Utilize a proven effective sales approach to identify, solicit, and secure new business from existing and new customers for Intermodal transportation services
· Sell and negotiate LGL North American door to door as well as ramp to ramp freight services. Secure business to meet individual, team, and Company volume / revenue / margin goals.
· Prospect new sales leads to establish business.
· Provide quotes for current and prospective customers.
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
· Should have a driven and competitive nature with strong problem solving abilities
· Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work independently and also with a team
Strong organizational skills
· Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
· Proficiency in using a Windows-based computer
