Description
The ideal candidate possesses both a high level of technical expertise and an innate passion to build.You will play a critical role in creating and refining processes in order to improve manufacturing safety, quality, and productivity.
Leading 2-4 temporary resources and directing them to inspect and process products for our customers on inbound delivery. This role is embedded in a large publicly traded company, and handling the delivery of products to them.Please note:
This role will start as a 3-Month Contract to hire Full-Time.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications for the LAB67 Products.
Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities.
Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes.
Document processes for internal and external customers while working inside.
Basic Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree in either Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
At least - 2 years' of engineering experience.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma Statistics, DOE, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S.
Experience with Development of Documentation for various processes.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in either Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
At least 3+ years' of hands on manufacturing experience.
Experience with JMP or MiniTab, or Excel Statistical DOE add-in.
Some experience with programming in Python or VBA.
