    Duties & Responsibilities:

    Drive revenue growth for Resort Catering on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

    Manage inventory effectively using strategic selling guidelines, optimizing meeting space ratios, package rates, Daily Meeting packages, and food and beverage minimums.

    Negotiate contracts, create proposals, secure bookings within assigned territories and set guidelines.
    Handle inquiries and conduct site inspections.
    Organize pre-event and post-event meetings with clients, guests, and catering teams.
    Implement company programs to exceed revenue targets while ensuring guest satisfaction.
    Recruit, train, and mentor Catering and Conference Service staff, fostering sales growth and evaluating performance.
    Maintain positive client relationships through clear and timely communication.
    Build a client base through direct sales efforts targeting organizations, associations, and businesses.
    Stay updated on industry trends, attend meetings and events, and contribute to sales strategy development.
    Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and reporting.
    Foster teamwork across departments to deliver high-quality service.
    Support clients in event planning, including menu selection, decor, and logistics.
    Ensure accuracy in booking details, room blocks, rates, and billing.
    Address operational issues impacting catering sales performance and collaborate on solutions.
    Perform additional duties as needed.

    Minimum requirements


    Minimum of two to three years of sales experience in hotel/resort catering and conference services or a related field, with prior direct supervisory experience in sales/catering teams.

    Bachelors degree in hospitality/Tourism, Sales/Marketing, or equivalent.
    Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
    Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
    Assertive, outgoing, and self-motivated with a pleasant personality, capable of thriving in a team environment.
    Proficient in computer use, with the ability to learn new programs quickly.
    Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
    Skilled in negotiation techniques.
    Demonstrates a proactive 'can-do' attitude and leads by example.

    Physical requirements include standing, walking for extended periods (4 to 5 hours), climbing stairs, reaching, bending, tasting, seeing, hearing, smelling, and tactile perception.

    May need to lift over 50 pounds occasionally.

    Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends, holidays, and as per business demands.
