Job Title Senior Embedded Software Engineer Job DescriptionYour challenge
Fill a technical leadership role in the requirements analysis, software design, testing, and maintenance of a major medical safety-critical monitoring system.
Apply your skills to perform software engineering for all phases of the software development lifecycle for this product, as well as follow-on work for future products.
You will be part of a distributed team, in a challenging, dynamic environment.Responsibilities
Ensure software is developed in compliance with software processes.
Become fluent in the architecture and design of the product and guide other engineers in the design and implementation of solutions.
Implement software code and perform analysis and multiple levels of test to ensure proper operation and acceptable performance.Work as part of multi-disciplinary team implementing software and hardware that controls and supports medical monitoring and other patient care-related applications.

Your Team
You will report directly to the Software Group Manager. This position is based in Orlando, Florida.
We are looking for
Technical or university degree or equivalent in computer science or computer engineering desired.
10+ years embedded Development
Regulated industry experience
GitHub, Perforce, or other version control systems
C/C++, Python
Embedded Systems software development and test.
Linux
Networking, automated testing and product security experience is a plus
