    Melt Ice Creams is looking for a shift lead to join our team Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged with others. Shift Leads at MELT are daily leaders of our store operations while serving and engaging with customers in our scoop shops. Your job is to diligently provide amazing experiences for customers and other team members.

    Shift Leads at MELT are expected to align with and follow these key areas but don't worry, we can train anyone.

    Culture

    Each Shift Lead is expected to know and align with MELT's mission and core values. As Shift Lead, you are also expected to manage team morale and set the team up for success on your shifts.

    Partnership

    Each Shift Lead is expected to collaborate and communicate positively, timely, and effectively with the store team members.

    Service

    Each Shift Lead will provide great customer experiences for every one of MELT's guests, leading their fellow Scoopers by example by always smiling and being available, looking for opportunities to further engage and serve customers

    Operations

    Shift leads are solution-based thinkers, able to multitask and work proactively, remaining aware of the shop needs. Shift Leads are responsible for the daily functions of MELT scoop shops alongside their team members:

    • Ongoing operations
    • Being on time, present, and ready to work for shifts
    • Performing pre-shift huddles
    • Serving guests efficiently
    • Completing checklists and performing walk-through
    • Proper cash management
    • Ordering and inventory
    • Training
    • Only serving the best quality products
    • Overseeing the quality of work of team
    • Store cleanliness and organization
    • Completing opening, ongoing, closing, and monthly cleaning tasks

    MELT Shift Leads are others-oriented, acting for the benefit of both their team members and our customers. MELT's team is committed to the excellent quality of our products and our customers experience. There is vast potential for developing skills and gaining experience of many kinds, and the creative input and ideas of Shift Leads is always welcome and valued.

    Pay and Benefits

    Pay with tip share averages $15.00 to 18.00 per hour

    Full-time employees averaging 30 hours per week or more are eligible for company subsidized health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance as well as company-paid life insurance and disability insurance.

    Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $ $18.00/hour.

    About Melt Ice Creams : Melt Ice Creams is a local creamery that makes specialty ice creams and baked goods fresh daily. We take great care in making high-quality premium ice creams and providing a quality work experience for our team members. MELT has four scoop shops, a commissary kitchen named the Joy Factory and a catering team. MELT is always looking to add team members eager to join the fun We pride ourselves in serving happy ice creams and happy experiences for our customers and team members alike.
