    Project Manager

    General Overview:

    Under the general supervision of the Director of the Dauten Family Center for Bipolar Treatment Innovation, the ProjectManager will be responsible for overseeing a large-scale research project within the center. The Bipolar Learning Health Network (LHN) is a plan to improve the health and well-being of people with bipolar disorder by building the first ever bipolar disorder learning health network - a system designed with and for the bipolar community - people with bipolar disorder and their families, clinicians, advocacy groups, researchers, health care systems, and payers - to collaborate, innovate, and conduct research quickly to produce excellent and equitable health outcomes.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    D isplaying a high degree of initiative, the Project Manager will continually assist with a wide range of project development, administrative oversight, and budget management.

    The project manager p articipates in monitoring the budget for the LHN by submitting expense reports related to these studies , executing purchas e orders , as well as monitoring overall budget totals and projected potential deficits .

    C oordination with multiple sites both academic and nonacademic with in the US and around the world

    Communicate with the IRB and resolve all issues

    Serves as a liaison between the research team and different institutions

    Organization of multiple committees and meetings and stakeholder engagement

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree required .

    Proven experience in project management within the healthcare industry.

    Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to different audiences.

    Ability to adapt communication strategies for various stakeholders

    Demonstrated organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workgroups simultaneously.

    Proficiency in project management tools (preferably SmartSheets ) and software programs: spreadsheets, databases, word-processing.

    Experience working with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Strong desire to grow professionally within research program management

    Strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complex issues

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

    Tracking the progress and activities of various workgroups involved in the project.

    Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of tasks, timelines, and milestones for both internal and external project components.

    Feel comfortable using effective project management tools and systems to track progress, identify potential roadblocks, and ensure timely completion of project tasks.

    Proactively address issues and challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.

    Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure everyone is aligned with project goals and timelines.

    Display a high degree of initiative in assisting with project development, administrative oversight, and budget management

    Supervisory Responsibility:

    Provide procedural oversight to clinical research coordinators (CRCs) assigned to the project.

    Participate in yearly performance evaluations for CRCs.

    Qualifications:
