Length: 13 weeks
4 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule
Requirements:

• NC License
• 2 years experience
• IV Start, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Titration of Cardiac Drips, Use of Rapid response teams, Feeding Tube and Management, Heparin Protocols, PCA,CVA
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS preferred
• MS/Tele, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Care of Ventilated patients, Wound Care/Wound Vac preferred

• Floating required as needed to Med Surg (1:6 Ratio)

JOB DETAILS:RATIOS: 1:4Will Accept 13 Weeks 36hrs can be offered.SHIFT: 12HR NIGHTS All missed shifts should be made up within the same week if possible; if not, time should be added to the end of the contract to make up the missed shiftFloat Requirement: FLOATING REQUIRED as needed to Med Surg (1:6 Ratio)Weekend Requirement: At least 4 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: The Intermediate Critical Care Unit is an exciting unit that exists to provide specialized care for patients that include but are not limited to: DKA, Sickle Cell, Sepsis, Respiratory Distress, Pneumonia, Heart Failure, Stroke and stroke like symptoms
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: The unit functions as a Rapid Response RNSPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Bipap, Cpap, OptiflowUNIT SYSTEMS: PYXSIS, EPICSCHEDULING TYPE: Self Schedule that is then balanced/approved by stafferUNIT ORIENTATION: 36 HoursSCRUBS: All navy or Navy and White
