    Specific Responsibilities Would Include

    Centric Brands is seeking an experienced Director of Global Logistics. This is a key Leadership/Ownership role and influencer within our Global Supply Chain. This position will report directly to the VP, Logistics.

    The Director will lead the team's accountable for all aspects of logistics across the globe for our Fashion Apparel & Accessories business.

    This is a highly strategic position that will involve strategic planning of our international transportation network, operational execution of all shipments and deliveries (Destination, Port of Entry, Direct from Origin, etc.), and negotiation of contracts with carriers and 3pl/4pl providers.


    Strategic:
    Develop and implement short/long term logistics strategies to support the growth of the organization in a cost-effective manner while improving service and reliability
    Work collaboratively across internal divisions to understand key areas of growth and shifts with sourcing/customers to ensure logistics strategy is in alignment needs
    Negotiate ocean/air contracts, rates, capacity leveraging relationships to support seasonality shipping requirements by Division and origin
    Identify, develop, implement, and enhance shipping visibility tools/reports/dashboards (Infor Nexus) to proactively manage and improve the logistics network
    Help develop, support, and drive the shift of volume to alternative methods of distribution (DC Bypass, Transload, etc.)
    Monitor and drive key performance end to end metrics to ensure that we are providing an excellent customer experience and delivering results
    Research and implement new tools to aid in resolving complex and routine process issues while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
    Day to Day Operations
    Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with effective communication and thorough follow through
    Import of approx. 10k containers annually from multiple origins (including Southeast Asia, Western Central Asia as well as Africa)
    Create/develop/execute transportation allocation and capacity strategies and develop contingency plans to cost-effectively support varying levels of company sales and changes to supply/demand patterns as well as market volatility
    Partner with Finance to manage and report on all cost associated with logistics and develop strategies to mitigate financial impact as needed
    Develop and utilize key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics and reporting to help drive execution, accountability and process uniformity and compliance across all divisions, regions, with all transportation providers and vendors
    Standardize, document, and improve logistics processes, standard operating procedures, and playbooks, ensuring implementation of best practices across the department
    Develop robust, trusting relationships and positive experiences with and for internal customers and partners on all logistic items, capabilities, and service standards
    Management of import air, small parcel, and other final mile operations for the organization
    Team Management
    Provide development and coaching to ensure employees are exceeding expectations
    Develop an action-based and customer service oriented Centric Logistics team
    Cultivate a team culture of exceeding expectations, continuous improvement, and proactive problem-solving
    Build relationship and trust with cross functional partners
    Lead team of 4+ direct reports and supporting staff located across the globe
    Perform other duties and special projects as needed

    Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have

    12+ years of international transportation experience in a fast-paced environment with at least 7 years in a leadership role for an importer (US or Global) or 3rd Party Logistics Provider (apparel experience is a plus)
    BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Management preferred or equivalent experience
    Extensive experience with enterprise resource planning systems and transportation management systems required; SAP experience strongly preferred
    Strong experience with demonstrated successes across complex multidivisional operations, with demonstrated successes (quantifiable results showcasing improvements across processes, operations and spend categories (Lean or Six Sigma experience highly valued) including process mapping and process re-design
    Ability to work collaboratively across functions and synthesize multiple points of view into a streamlined action pla

    Strong background leading service providers operationally and negotiation of costing, with high levels of experience building up processes (SOP's and Statements of work), holding service providers accountable to business needs and KPI's.

    Proven ability as a passionate people-centric leader with exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build a team, lead, motivate, drive performance and accountability
    Able to hit the ground running – a confident, entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to manage and prioritize projects to delegate tasks appropriately
    Demonstrate leadership in building a culture of Continuous Improvement for processes and operations management
    High analytical ability and drive to gather and interpret data beyond surface level to further develop, recommend and implement solutions
    Proven track record for anticipating issues and having implemented processes/standards to address items before they occur and ability to adjust on the move
    Strong experience communicating at many different levels of an organization, clear, concise messaging/presentation experience is a must have
    High level expertise/experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word), data visualization tools/dashboard development (Power BI, etc.)
    Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

    Salary Range:
    $131,600-$164,500

    Base salary is a part of a total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, annual bonus and other Centric Brands sponsored benefit programs.
