    Summary:

    The Senior Financial Analyst Supply Chain is responsible for the planning, analysis, forecasting and budgeting processes for Supply Chain Operations.

    This role also supports the Finance team with budgeting/forecasting, month-end variance analysis, decision support/business opportunity analysis.


    Essential Duties:
    Lead the analysis, reporting and budgeting functions in support of Supply Chain Operations.

    Act as a trusted partner and advisor and work cross functionally with Supply Chain team as well as other areas of the organization to improve corporate profitability and support strategic initiatives.

    Proactively identify improvement and savings opportunities and work with management to initiate change and improve overall company performance.

    Provide detailed and accurate ad-hoc financial analysis to the Supply Chain Management Team to identify and drive operational efficiencies and business growth opportunities.

    Responsible for forecasting, trend analyses, budgeting, and financial variance analyses for Blount's Supply Chain operations. Develop and maintain key business performance measures.
    Develop evaluation models to analyze financial implications of initiatives. Ensure that financial analysis and cash flow / IRR analysis are prepared to justify expenditures.

    Work with various cross-functional departments to review project applications and ensure they are captured in the budgeting and forecasting process.

    Minimum Knowledge, Skill, and

    Ability Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in finance or a Business discipline preferred.
    6-8 years of overall experience in a financial discipline.
    Solid business acumen, technical knowledge of financial statements, general accounting and process management procedures.
    Excellent analytical skills along with strong knowledge of Excel and financial modeling.
    Knowledge of product cost accounting and non-standard analysis is desired but not required.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Must be results oriented with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
    Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.
    Systems application experience on X3 and Power BI, is a plus.
