    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift/Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating forklifts and managing materials efficiently and safely within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production facility.
    2. Safely handle and stack materials, including pallets, crates, and boxes, to optimize storage space and facilitate efficient workflow.
    3. Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and other equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition, reporting any issues or malfunctions to management.
    4. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
    5. Assist with inventory management, including counting, labeling, and organizing materials as needed.
    6. Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders and meet production deadlines.
    7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, removing debris, and disposing of waste properly.
    8. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    · Experience driving a forklift.

    · Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.

    · Be able to wear work boots and meet the standard of the company's workplace safety (if applicable).

    · Legally permitted to work in the United States.
