*United States Citizenship Required*DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

The successful candidate will support All Points in providing engineering expertise to Lockheed Martin's

Mars Ascent Vehicle Integrated System (MAVIS)

. The ideal candidate shall be a level 3 structural dynamic analyst (shock, random vibe, acoustics).


EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical, Aerospace, Mechanical) or closely related field from an accredited school.

CERTIFICATIONS:

Basic Qualifications:
United States Citizenship Required

Advanced understanding of structures and structural dynamics either through education or work experience

Proficiency in application of finite element analysis principles as well as rigid and flexible body lumped-parameters

Extensive experience working with mechanisms

Knowledge of and applicable experience with spacecraft or aircraft structural dynamic methods

Experience leading a team

Experience interacting with customers in a formal capacity or as subject matter expert

Hands on experience leading internal and external reviews

Proposal experience


Desired Skills:
Ability to work in a collaborative and highly integrated team environment

Ability and desire to assume ownership of tasks and drive to closure quickly and efficiently

Experience evaluating designs using rigid body or flexible body analysis methods and tools for mechanisms and separation systems

Mechanisms, antenna, electronic component, ground support, hoisting, and test support equipment, and composite materials analysis experience

Experience with NX/Nastran, Abaqus, ADAMS, LS-Dyna, Matlab, Mathcad and CREO

Static, vibration, acoustic, modal, shock test experience of aerospace flight hardware

Creativity/innovation to tackle issues related to anomalous performance of any aspect of a mechanical system

Responsible in a CAM role for financial or schedule deliveries. Ability to perform analysis on schedule or cost variances

CPE or RSE experience
