    Job Description:

    We are on the quest for a distinguished Head of Cloud Platforms who will chart the course of our cloud strategy. The ideal candidate will captain the cloud platform division, orchestrating the development and governance of our cloud infrastructure, and ensuring optimal performance, security, and future-proof scalability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Pioneer the development and governance of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
    • Formulate and evolve cloud platform best practices and operational procedures.
    • Lead, coach, and expand a proficient team of cloud professionals.
    • Facilitate collaborative efforts across various departments to assure the seamless integration of cloud technologies.
    • Design and implement robust cloud solutions to support CI/CD pipelines and efficient deployment workflows.
    • Assess system performance metrics and enforce enhancements to bolster robustness and scalability.
    • Uphold stringent compliance with industry norms and regulatory mandates.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline. A higher qualification would be advantageous.
    • Demonstrable prowess in a cloud-oriented role, with a minimum of two years in a leadership capacity.
    • Comprehensive expertise in cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
    • In-depth exposure to microservices architecture and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Adeptness with infrastructure as code (IAC) methodologies (Terraform, CloudFormation).
    • Profound insights into network architectures and cyber security frameworks.
    • Proven track record of strategic leadership and effective communication.
    • Prior experience within the financial sector will be favorable.
