Job summary
The County of Santa Barbara is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Department of Social Services in Santa Barbara, California.
We are seeking a finance and accounting professional who has strong organizational leadership skills,
financial acumen,strategic business thinking,and experience with complex financial systems and programs in
a governmental agency preferably a California health and human services organization.
This position is categorized as a Financial Services Manager III classification within the County's leadership series.
The ideal candidate should have experience overseeing budgeting finances for large government agencies and have expertise in public finance budgeting,governmental accounting standards board,gasb principles,budget development management,fiscal management,cash management,payroll benefits,money control etc.The county offers generous benefits including retirement reciprocity time service credit towards an advanced vacation accrual disaster service worker equal employment opportunity statement application supplemental questionnaire deadline open until filled.
