    We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager that has 2-3 years of experience working in a high-volume environment of a new restaurant opening in Essex County, NJ. The candidate must be comfortable with overseeing a large front-of-house staff, the host and bar staff. Additional experience in banquet and special events will be a plus. This individual must be a fast-track candidate and we will be looking to develop this role into role of greater responsibility with 1-2 years. Most importantly, this individual must be able to function as part of a team. We are looking at completing the interview process as soon as the right person appears You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the restaurant team. Quarterly bonus is available and will help drive the total income package

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise team of restaurant workers including the bar, service, host and banquet team
    • Adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
    • Train and evaluate employees
    • Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting
    • Resolve escalated customer complaints

    ​Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in restaurant and customer service, including banquet and special event sales
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent written and communication skills
    • Strong leadership qualities
