for an aviation project at the Miami International Airport.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Technical knowledge of civil engineering and design standards.
Progressively increasing knowledge and understanding of the project development process, including site planning and site engineering.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Proven presentation skills are required.
Progressively increasing ability to serve as a technical specialist in civil engineering for various assignments and tasks.
Progressively increasing ability to demonstrate creativity, foresight and mature engineering judgement in anticipating and solving unpredictable engineering problems.
Progressively increasing ability to manage project budget and schedule.
Progressively increasing ability to lead and direct a team of engineers and subconsultants.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the overall management of assigned projects(s) and coordination of the A/E Consults of Record and the Contractor.
Performs and directs others in accordance with the EAC's policies and to the satisfaction of the client's requirements.
Coordinates all aspects of the project to ensure an effective design that meets the needs of the stakeholders.

Assures that each project team complies with the contract agreement as well as exercises rigid cost control to implement the approved design within established budget restraints.

Identifies causes for revisions to projects and whether such changes are billable to the client.
Responsible for contract and scope management

EXPERIENCE:
Typically five years' post registration experience.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or related field.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred.
